In today’s newsletter from the International Pompe Association:
- Raymond Saich has been elected as the newest IPA Board Member. Raymond is the president of the Australian Pompe Association. Congratulations Raymond!
- The first IPA Community Advisory Board (CAB) meeting was held in San Antonio in October. Brad Crittenden attended representing CAP. A summary of the meeting can be found on the IPA website.
- The AMDA/IPA Pompe Patient and Scientific Conference was held in San Antonio in October. Brad Crittenden represented CAP at the AGM. The brochure provides a very good summary of the presentations, as well as speaker biographies. The IPA will be issuing a more detailed conference report as well as video of the presentations.
- Dr. Marein Favejee received her PhD on her thesis “Physiotherapy Management in Adults with Pompe Disease.”
