Hi Everyone, There will be a C.A.P meeting in Ottawa in October of this year. Some of you have already confirmed and some have not,but if everyone could reassure their confirmation by September 6 as we have to book the hotel rooms and flights. The dates will be from October 1st – October 3rd of this year. Everyone will arrive on Friday October 1st, on October 2nd we have been invited to join the C.O.R.D (I have sent invitations). Also on the Saturday night there will be a dinner held for all those attending the C.A.P meeting on Sunday the 3rd. The tentative C.A.P meeting will go as follows: 9am – Noon we will have 3 to 4 speakers speak on different subjects pertaining to Pompe disease. Dr. Khan and Durhane Wong-Rieger of C.O.R.D are confirmed speakers. Noon – 1pm will be lunch 1pm – 3pm will be when C.A.P will discuss issues such as reelection, charitable status and what ever else needs to be addressed. If anyone has a point they want to discuss that will be the time. Please contact me by September 6th to confirm, even if you have already done so. Also please confirm with Linda Chouinard from Genzyme Linda.Chouinard@genzyme.com and if you have any questions regarding special needs or travel she would be the one to talk to. The Canadian Association of Pompe was setup to help persons in Canada and elsewhere become familiar with Pompe disease, also for support of those persons with Pompe |
